31ST Marine Expeditionary Unit arrives for Combined EXERCISE FOAL EAGLE 2006.

POHANG, Korea (March 25, 2006) -- Marines and sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) embarked aboard the Sasebo Forward Deployed Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) arrived here Mar. 25 to take part in Exercise Foal Eagle 2006.

Exercise Foal Eagle is a routine, regularly scheduled, joint/combined exercise that demonstrates U.S. resolve to support the Republic of Korea (ROK) against external aggression while improving both countries’ combat readiness and joint/combined interoperability.
