KOREAN TROOPS CONTINUE TO FIGHT
IN OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM

Several weeks ago I noted the reported kidnapping of several South Korean soldiers from the Korean brigade participating in the US-led coalition fighting in OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. Today’s edition of The Korea Times provides additional details of the participation of our Korean friends in combating terrorism in the Middle East. We salute the steadfast support and effectiveness of our Korean military brothers and sisters and commend the Korean Government in appreciation.
