The Election Committee wishes to inform the Membership and Candidates that the following have been certified to seek the positions indicated for the 2012 Election.

Effective upon the Closing Date of December 15th, the members of the Election Committee have reviewed all letters, documents, etc. received from each Candidate for Office in the forthcoming election in the Korean War Veterans Association. It is our opinion that all of the requirements have been met as listed in the Association’s By-Laws, Procedure Manual and as published in The Graybeards.

The names have been submitted to the Secretary, the Webmaster & the editor of The Graybeards for the printing of the ballots. The Committee has submitted the names in alphabetical order for each position.

Please pass the word to all members, as it will help in getting more members to submit their Ballots this year.

Note: There were two (2) additional submissions for President. Both were disallowed.
The first one was submitted twice and was still incomplete.  It was withdrawn via email message from the applicant.
The second one arrived on the 15th of Dec and was not complete (No Application or Statement) and there was no additional time for the candidate to submit the missing Document & Statement.
